Precision Munitions Test
L-3 Telemetry-East has developed a unique, modular product consisting of a PCM encoder and S-Band transmitter used in projectile test applications. These units can be modified to accommodate virtually any requirement and can be physically repackaged to meet a wide variety of form factors, depending on installation needs.
Telemetry Ground Equipment
L-3 Telemetry-East manufactures a wide variety of telemetry ground equipment, including receivers, complete computer-controlled ground stations, and a wide variety of support products servicing the range telemetry, space data, signal intelligence, and satellite Telemetry, Tracking and Control (TT&C) communities. These products include configurations suitable for rack mount, modules for VME chassis and PC applications, and complete turnkey installations.

The PA-805S is a solid-state, UHF power amplifier intended for use with S-Band telemetry transmitters when greater transmission power is required. L-3 Communications Telemetry-East’s S-Band transmitters can be mounted directly on top of, and electrically connected to, the PA805S. An efficient, compact high-power transmitter is the result. Due to the broad bandwidth response of the PA805S amplifier, it can be used with the assigned frequency transmitter within a 100 MHz Band. Wider bandwidths are optional.
